Grow

I just got off the phone with an old roommate. We didn't end on the best terms. She called but we ended up talking and catching up. Things are now patched up and I reliazed how much has God has grown me in the last four months. It's funny how you can be so convienced he hasn't moved and then all of the sudden it hits you and your eyes are opened. I have learned through all of this to wait upon the Lord.

I am excited for this week! We are kicking it off with a Sensaria BBQ today. I'm excited to learn all of the new information Amanda brought back from convention. Tomorrow night is chinese night with my sweetie and then Tuesday is DATE NIGHT!!! : )

Today has been a looooong day!

We got up early to go to Ryan's memorial. The service was beautiful and a true celebration of his life. I only met Ryan once and I am very honored I got to do so. That kid had a heart of gold. You could see it in the faces of everyone who attended the memorial. Please continue to pray for Kaylla's family. I suspect things will get harder as they return to everyday life and his absence is magnified.

Now, I am watching Bad Boys II with my hubby. He's so cute when he watches movies because he gets really into them. He reminds me of a little kid. : )

Later we're going to hang with Jamey, Brandy, and Nen and eat some PASTA!! I'm also making my Secret Invintion and Justin is really, REALLY excited.

Kaylla returns to the sunny state of Florida today!! : )

While I am ecstatic to see her, I am so sad it came under these circumstances. Kaylla lost her cousin Ryan earlier this week after a battle with cancer. Please keep her and her family in your prayers.

I just have to say that I have the worlds most amazing husband. He is taking my grandfather to have a procedure an hour away this morning. I know this has put him in an awkward position but he didn't hesitate when I asked him to do it. What a sweetheart. : ) Even though he did say I suck at directions...

I must admit that I am not very good at these things ("these things" being blogs.) I have started many blogs and gotten about two or three post into it and failed...miserably. I've decided this is my last attempt...

I feel like I have more to say this time though. I guess like being a newlywed gives me more to talk about? Or maybe what I have to say has more substance now? Maybe I just want to be more honest with myself. I feel like writing down my thoughts is a lot better than the alternative of holding them in. That has obviously gotten me no where.

So, this blog is my attempt at being as candid as possible. Here goes nothin'!
